Hi Everybody,
This is my first logging on to the Javaranch.
I am thinking of taking certification and i went to www.code316.com. From the list of mock exams i selected
the second "Java Certification Exam - 59 questions" and
started to do it.
Most of the questions asks to find out whether the code is legal or not. I found the intitial question 9-19 or some very confusing. Can somebody help me out. I am amateur in this field.
I would really appreciate it if somebody helps me out with this.
Thanks,
Ratna

Ratna,
You don't say how much experience you have with Java. Have you done any coding? Read any of the tutorials? Before starting the mocks you need to learn the basic rules.
Try the following sites:
New-to-Java Programing
Marcus Green's Site
And, of course, Maha Anna's Resource Page
Hope that helps.
Jane

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
