Hello,
I was wondering if the current forum software support sticky threads or topics, that is threads or topics deemed important enough by the adminstrators so that when a user enters a forum, the thread or topic is always at the top of the list for viewing?
I think this would be a great feature for many of the forums, where the Admins could attach FAQs.
I know something similar exists in Miscellaneous Drivel ie the "Fallacy" document, but I dont know how difficult that is to apply to other forums.
As an example on the newly created SCBCD forum, Kathy Sierra has posted a couple of topics that contain a lot of good information about the exam. However as the topics are not sticky, theyre gradually being pushed down the thread list by other topics and eventually will be pushed off the page.
Cheers,
Mark

The answer is no, UBB doesnot support such a feature. However( if you have noticed certification forums), we do create static pages such as FAQs, links to relevant resources etc. that regularly get updated. Many forums will have links to these useful pages at the top of the forum...
If you see such a need for any forum in particular(SCBCD?) please email the forum moderator.
