Well, I'm not sure what your doubts ARE, but if you are asking what the difference is - the
class is roughly equivalent to Hashtable, except that it is unsynchronized and permits nulls.

HashTable has been retrofitted to implement the Map interface, so use Hashmap instead of Hashtable
