Hi Raj, No, you don't need to know C or C++ .. actually some people think prior knowledge of C can be a hinderance; some of the SCJP questions are directly geared at tripping up C/C++ programmers OOP's knowledge definitly helps. Well Raj,it's not a requirement,but if you have prior knowledge of these languages,you wont have to start right from learning the basic syntax of Java(eg. semi-colon after every statement,basic data types and declarations etc.).
