Hi,
Is there any way to debug java code i.e line by line like a interpreter ?

any decent IDE will have a debugger other wise use println

I can debug the code using jdb but problem is how can I set breakpoints in it ?

Is there any way that we can know the value of a variable at particular point during debugging ?
I am trying this by placing System.out.println() place to place and setting breakpoints at that place.
Any other way ?
