Hi Folks, I have started a study group and we have agreed to meet once a week. Can anyone advise on what the best use of our time is ? The cunning plan at the moment is to take over a computer lab, take a section of the objectives and code. Once we feel confident we will then start testing each other. Cheers JonK
I'd say that you should have programming assignments (to be done 'till next meating or so). No type of study ever beats the real thing. This will give you a better "feel" of the programming language. /Mike
You might consider using JQ+ a study aide. This way after you study each section, each member can be tested on each level. Also, when you first start it has an easy level, and it goes up to real brainer. So you can check yourselves out on a gradient scale instead of just testing all at once at the end. Since you only meet once a week, you might have an area to post questions should anyone of your group have a question in the middle of the week. The study group is a great idea.
