Hi, I have Khalid's mock exam. There is only one exam that I am aware of. Just so I don't mistakenly give you the wrong answers, I will email you the questions and answers if you email from the above link and tell me you want it. Can you accept MSWord97 format. Steve

Here is the tip. Just answer for one question and click Finish. If you got 1 of 59 is right, you have answered correct otherwise wrong. If you appear more than one, say two and if you get the result as 1 of 59 is right then you will confuse which one was right. I believe that test engine randomly selects questions, I got different question each time. Test engine does't shows answer, so if you have any query on the question, write down and post it in Javaranch for discussion. Hope this helps.

Hi, I am interested too. It would be very nice if anybody of you send the mentioned word document to aja@kasten.de. Thanks in advance Axel
Sona, I just emailed the exam to you. My email address is in the note, so reply if you have trouble accepting .doc files and I'll send a .txt version. V Srinivasan is right about the tip. I actually got the answers from this site a while back. Now, I am sending copies to aja@kasten.de and jkurian@bigpond.com

PLEASE READ!! After reading V Srinivasan's post, I tried to find the post where I got the answers but could not find it. I also looked at my copy of khalid's questions and some of the answers seem funny. So, you may want to use these answers along with the tip mentioned above to clarify or find their matching question. I'm going to list the first and last question, along with the answer list. I hope I did not cause major problems. Keep eachother informed of discrepancies. #1) A method is ...? 1. an implementation of an abstraction. 2. an attribute defining the property of a particular abstraction. 3. a category of objects. 4. an operation defining the behavior for a particular abstraction. 5. a blueprint for making operations. #59) Which statements are true, given the code new FileOutputStream("data", true) for creating an object of class FileOutputStream? 1. FileOutputStream has no constructors matching the given arguments. 2. An IOExeception will be thrown if a file named "data" already exists. 3. An IOExeception will be thrown if a file named "data" does not already exist. 4. If a file named "data" exists, its contents will be reset and overwritten. 5. If a file named "data" exists, output will be appended to its current contents. THE ANSWER LIST, AS I GOT IT: 1) 3 2) 1 3) 1 4) 2, 6 5) 3 6) 2 7) 4 8) 3 9) 1, 2, 3, 5 10) 1, 4, 5 11) 4 12) 4 13) 1 14) "LayoutManager layout = new GridLayout(2, 3);" OR "LayoutManager layout = new GridLayout(2, 3)" 15) 4 16) 2 17) 2, 4 18) 4, 5 19) 2 20) 3 21) 3 22) 4 23) 1, 2 24) 1 25) 1, 4 26) 2 27) 4 28) 3 29) 1, 4, 5 30) 4 31) 2, 5 32) 0 33) 3, 4 34) 2, 3 35) 2, 4 36) 3, 5 37) 2, 5 38) 3, 4 39) 1 40) 1, 2, 3 41) "wait" 42) 3 43) 2 44) 4 45) 4 46) 1, 2, 3, 4 47) 2 48) 1, 2, 4 49) 0 50) 2 51) 1, 5 52) 1, 3 53) 0 54) 2, 5 55) 5 56) 2, 3 57) 3 58) 2, 3 59) 5
