Hi friends, I am learning "Thinking In Java" By Bruce Eckel.It was clear to me uptill the half of chapter 4.But when i reached the topic of chapter 4, "Cleanup: finalization and garbage collection" it seems to me that i am failed to understand this brief topic. I want to understand this brief topic!. Can anybody solve my problem? or i ask Bruce Eckel(if it is possible) to clear me this topic Regards, Hassan.
Hi Hassan! I think you shuold consult it from another books such as "Exam Cram" by Brogden, Khlid Azim Mughal's book about certification of Java2 or third choice is book by "Simon Roberts, Philip Heller etc.". Theez books are good and way of explanation is brilliant. I think your problem will be solved by one of these. Regards Farhan

Hi Farhan. Well, i have done GC, and i think it's much for cetification. I have also gave the Khalid Mughal's engine in which i got 100% in GC. But Bruce Eckel have explained this topic at system level.All the memory management.I want to dig that knowledge. For this i want help. Regards, Hassan
