why should the answer be option 4???
Question 53)  NU
Given the following class definition which of the following can be legally placed after the comment line
//Here ?
class Base{
public Base(int i){}
}
public class MyOver extends Base{
public static void main(String arg[]){
MyOver m = new MyOver(10);
}
MyOver(int i){
super(i);
}
MyOver(String s, int i){
this(i);
//Here
}
}
1)MyOver m = new MyOver();
2)super();
3)this("Hello",10);
4)Base b = new Base(10); - C
Answer to Question 53)
4)Base b = new Base(10);
Any call to this or super must be the first line in a constructor. As the method already has a call to this, no more can be inserted.

Thanks in adv

Lets go over the options:
1. It is never a good idea to create a new version of it self in the constructor. Bside that, you don't have a constructor with no arguments, so you'll get a compiler error.
2. super()-calls are only allowed on the first line of the constructor.
3. this()-calls are only allowed on the first line of the constructor, like the one you have. Besides, this option would create an infinit loop.
4. which leaves this option, the only working one.
Hope that helps
/Mike

I recommend trying to compile the various versions yourself to see what is possible. That way you either
1) Don't need to ask anyone else
2) Can confirm the answers/eplanations that you get are correct
