Hi friends, This question is regardless of SCJP.But just asking for knowledge. When an object call a method, then that method has the reference of object in a variable called this. My question is that, does this is a global variable or methods local variable.? Regards, Hassan.
Hi Hassan, Think of it as a final object variable that gets set by the compiler. It is available to any non-static method in the class but it can't be changed to point to any other object. Regards, Manfred.
