Client machine requires support for the JRE 1.2.2 or better for Webstart.

I believe you can only use the jre 1.2.2 or higher.
 
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
