Hi all,

I have an existing java application. That app must be web based.
I use java web start.Have all done to be done.
Now I wanne send a parameter to that program.

JNLP FILE
<resources>
<property name="key" value="something"/>
</resources>

IN JAVA
public SimpleExample() {
String dummy = System.getProperty("key");
this.getContentPane().add(new Button(dummy));
this.show();
// TODO Auto-generated constructor stub
}
I did sign the jar file, but still the message:

Category: Security Error

access denied (java.util.PropertyPermission key read)

Anybody can help me. Is this the right thing to send parameters to my existing program?? So my problem is ,I need to know how correct sending these parameters.
Well thanks in advance,

Bjorn from Holland
