This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
We have a jws application deployed in the client machine. And the client machine has a shortcut to this jws app. But when the new version of our application was installed, the shortcut is still pointing to the old version. Is there a way to update the shortcut through the jnlp?
Hi Radha : Just Give the client the link to your JWS Application again. Perhaps you might have added or deleted more Jars. The other option is Ask the client to clear off his/her cache, by opening the Java Webstart Application.
I hope this helps.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
