Pack200 & repack question

I'm writing a Ant task to automate packing a set of existing JARs with Pack200. (The one on java.net doesn't suit my needs)

Work is progressing but I'm confused about one thing: what is the --repack option of the command line tool suppose to do?

Does it pack200 the JAR with KEEP_FILE_ORDER=false and then unpack200? Is it that simple?

And what does [-opt | --option=value] do?

Have you checked out Aspose?
