I am trying to convert an applet into a JWS deployed application.
How can I get the codeBase from the application?
I need to exchange data between the application and a servlet. Both are hosted on the same server.

Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

Ok.
I got it. I modified the JNLP to include the "codebase" property name and value, signed the jar and now I am able to get it by System.getProperty("codebase")

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
