Hi,
I found one icon in my desktop named java web start .what is java web start? and it uses for?
can anyone help me?

When it is run for the first time, a Java Web Start application may create a desktop/start menu shortcut. Such behavior is configured in a JNLP file.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
