I would ask in a d-link support forum, or check my routers manual. You need to forward all the ports your application is listening to. Also make sure that it isn't your windows(or other software) firewall which is blocking the ports.

Alright.. First, click "start" in the bottom left, or whereever you have it.
Next, hover over "connect to" and then click "wireless network connection status"
Now there, click on the tab, "support" right next to "general."
Under the default gateway, click on 'details' and then find your IP address, you will need this. Now go up to your browser, and type in your default gateway (192.168.1.1) that's all you type in.
Now is the split part.
---Do you have windows HP or Vista? Follow this guide---
Go to your browser, type 192.168.1.1, then hit enter.
Now, for the username, type "admin" for the password, type "password"
---Do you have MAC, or another type of software? follow this guide---
Go to your browser, type 192.168.1.1, then hit enter.
Now for the username here, leave the username BLANK. Nothing there!!
But, for the password, type 'admin.' Now either software, continue with the rest of this guide.
-------------------------------- ------------------------------
Now go over to the left tablike thing on the side, and scroll that down,
and hit "port forwarding/triggering"
Now on that, click "add custom service"
Now, for the ip, type in YOUR IP ADRESS! I told you how to get there earlier. Now, anyway:
Service Name(not server ip): Your name, anything you want.
Service type: LEAVE THIS ALONE!
Starting port: 43594(common moparscape port) or something else.
Ending port: Same as above, 43594, or your port.
IP: YOUR ip address, not your server's, but yours!
Now hit "apply"
Now.. Guess what? You've port forwarded! Congratulations!
