I have an Applet in which i use JTables and create my own table models extending AbstractTableModel and overriding the appropriate methods.I observed that the methods getValueAt() and setValueAt() are called several times for each entry in the JTable. What is the reason for that? Will this not degrade the performance as my application then remains busy for a longer time than it should be ? ------------------ Come on in !! Drinks are on the house in the Big Moose Saloon !!
