Hi Guys ,
My application is basically to move data from one database to another ( like from DB2 to Oracle or DB2 to ASA ).
When I run it for moving data from DB2/Oracle to ASA it takes long time .
The observation is :
Time take to move data from DB2 to Oracle = 10 min .
Time taken to move same data from DB2 to ASA = 45 min .
One thing I would like to mention is that It involves lakhs of records . The ASA database is initially fast but as it proceeds , the time taken to insert increase .
Can anyone tell me if there is any limitation on the number of records the database can hold with good performance .
I have already tried -c and -gp option for ASA database , but it didnt helped .
Thanks,
Ashu Sindhu
