I love to see discussions like this one!
The author of the article you referenced, "Continuous Performance: The Next Advance in Software Development" is Cody Menard, the CTO at our company, IronGrid. Cody wrote the article to try and demonstrate why our product IronEye SQL IronEye SQL Product Page should be integrated into the build process. IronEye SQL includes an Ant task and simply allows a developer to view all SQL flowing between an application and the database. Developers can therefore test and monitor performance with every build. Whether or not they tune at that time or simply make note of any performance degradation is up to them. Please download a 10-day trial copy of IronEye SQL and try it out and let me know what you think: lisa@irongrid.com I welcome all positive and negative feedback
Sincerely, Lisa Sharples, IronGrid
