How do i make my web site fast, currently the speed is normal, i want it to be fast or very fast. we have got good latest hardware and softwares for our servers, we have allocated 1GB of memory to JVM, of which 130-150MB of memory is only used at any given time, CPU is almost 70% idle.
and we also have very high speed lease line internet connection.

some other details are:
-------------------------------
OS: Sun Solaris 9 (5.9)
Application Server: WebLogic Server 8.1 SP4
Java.Version: 1.4.2_08

Hasan,
The first step is to runa profiler and see what is taking up the most time. Is it the database? Network? Some Java processing?
