Question to all OpenSTA users (HELP!)

Hi all,

Well, I havent read that much on openSTA yet but I heard a lot of good feedbacks about it and im thinking of using it for performance monitoring of our Websphere Application server.

I want to create a stress test using openSTA, the peformance of my Websphere application server running on a UNIX OS. Is this possible? I've read on openSTA's site that if we are to create Collectors for data gathering.......isn't it that the NT type Collectors only work for hosts with Windows NT or 2000 operating systems? what if the OS of the WAS is UNIX? or Windows XP? What is the right way to do this?

One more question:
When making distributed tests, if I wanted to change the host to another computer in my network, I just need to change it's configuration on the openSTA server right? I tried it but it would not work. I've already installed an openSTA server on the target host and it still would not work? Can anyone help me on this?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
