How to change mod_jk LogLevel debug to error

Hi ,
whenever any request gets processed, tomcat is creating huge logs,
i want to change the logLevel from debug to error for lesser size of log file.
my mod_jk.conf file content looks like..
this way is not working out,am i doing it right??
help pls.
