how to implement file upload inside a jsf portlet

Thank you for reading my post.
how i can add file upload facility to my jsf portlet ?
I searched the web and it seems that portlets does not support servlet filters , so i do not know how to implement that.
I made this portlet is JSC nad it si JSR-168 compatible.

File uploads do not require servlet filters, but they do require a servlet (or at least the possibility to get at the servlet request parameters). The File Upload wiki page links to two packages that can help implement it.
