Hello BEA Experts,

I am having this issue with dynamically generated textboxes in a JSP with in a pageflow which is part of a portal.Every time the user clicks on the "Add a Row" button a set of textboxes are created with in the JSP , I am using Javascript to do this , as I wasnt able to find any way to do this using NetUI tags .

I have the following questions and any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) Since I genereated these textboxes dynamically using Javascript I need to map the textbox valeus to a NetUI tag element so as to pass the values to an Actionform and this NetUI tag should be hidden ,which NetUI tag element do I use to accomplish this, or can I achieve passing the values to the ActionForm without using the NetUI tags i.e by using regular HTML tags.

In other words this question comes down to how can one pass an array from a JSP to an action form, I am sorry to say but all the examples I have seen so far have been the opposite ones i.e reading from an array using the repeater tags.

2) My second question is if we could generate the Textboxes dynamically using any NetUI tags and completely avoid the java
script.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Hi,

I was also looking for a similar requirement. Did you have any luck with that?
