I am trying to deploy a Jetspeed portal application on websphere 6.1 and getting this exception.

EJPPC0005E: portlet.xml validation caught a SAXException. The Message was: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'init-param'. One of '{"http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/portlet/portlet-app_1_0.xsd":supported-locale, "http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/portlet/portlet-app_1_0.xsd":resource-bundle, "http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/portlet/portlet-app_1_0.xsd" ortlet-info}' is expected.

The same application I was able to deploy properly on 6.0.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like a malformed tag in the portlet.xml file.

Is there any way you can post the portlet.xml file without infringing on the confidentiality of the application?

Cheers!
