I am trying to deploy a Jetspeed portal application on websphere 6.1 and getting this exception.

EJPPC0005E: portlet.xml validation caught a SAXException. The Message was: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'init-param'. One of '{"":supported-locale, "":resource-bundle, "" ortlet-info}' is expected.

The same application I was able to deploy properly on 6.0.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a malformed tag in the portlet.xml file.

Is there any way you can post the portlet.xml file without infringing on the confidentiality of the application?
