Search For Documents and metadata

Hi,

I have the requirement of search for the documents along with the meta data (in Documentum product). Now I am looking for the option like search with in a Folder for the documents or files(File System Search) using WebSphere Portal Server 6.0. On the other side i want to search for the metadata(Database Search) also. How can I achieve this.

I am also having the same requirement od searching documents by their meta data values in Java. Were you able to get through this? If so, can you tell me how you did that?
