Error in JSR 168 , Pg 36

On Page 36, we have custom-portlet-mode element defined as

   
      <custom-portlet-name>
                <description>some description</description>
                <name>ModeName</name>
      </custom-portlet-name>
 

However the portlet.xml schema says that <name> should be replced by <portlet-mode>

Is my understanding correct ?
