I've just been updating my website, and I posted a new article about JSR-168 Portlet Development best practices. It incorporates many of the best practices, and common mistakes, I've seen people make when developing portlet applications.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
