I'm new to portlets. Can some pls tell me how I could use Liferay on my website? Ive been reading the documentation and experimenting with the sample portlets that come with the Liferay download. But it doesn't show how the portlets can be placed on an existing site. i.e with just the individual portlets without the Lifeeray header. I am posting here because Javaranch provides much better support than the Liferay community forums!

Nevermind. I've answered my own question. For those interested: what I was actually trying to do was make custom template. A tutorial can be found here
