Hi,
I am new to websphere portal.I just started implementing cross page wiring in my application using RAD 7.0 and websphere portal 6.0.

While adding wire to my source portlet, After selecting target page, target portlet dropdown is not getting enabled in wire tab.

Please let me know ..how should i overcome this issue.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Sadasivarao,

While you are doing cross page wiring, all your target actions should be global actions.

Before you wire, go to the wiring tab of page edit and select the required actions as global action by selecting the check box and click apply. Repeat the same in both the pages.

Then do the wiring as you are doing now, in the source page, the portal recognizes there is a target action for the selected source portlet and the selected target page.
