Congratulations on finding the answers.

But just imagine how helpful it would be to other people who have the same problem if you shared your solution with all of us!

Sure not a problem

Here are the steps...
- Open the portal server configuration (by double clicking the server in the Server tab)
- You will see a "configuration" tab . There "check" the "Enable administration console" checkbox.
- Start the server .. once up .. right click on the server and select "run administration server"..

You will get the local app server admin console. which hosts the portal app

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
