AJAX (no framework), JSF Portlet w/ Managed Bean on WebSphere

Hello,

I'm developing a JSF Portlet that has a managed bean (under pagecode on RSA). From the Portal page I'm invoking myajax.jsp via AJAX (no framework). This invocation is successful and returns a value (java.util.Date().toString()) to the browser. This just proves that the ajax to myajax.jsp and back functions properly.

So for my question, inside the myajax.jsp I need access to the JSF managed bean for that Portlet. How do I get access to that managed bean. I know inside the managed bean I have access to getFacesContext() but don't know how to get the HttpSession object that myajax.jsp (via session object).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks...Jim
