Hi,

I have been trying to install Websphere Portal Server 6.x from a long time.
I could not able to move on.
I don't have answer to the following question.
Can I install IBM Websphere Portal Server without IBM WAS? I know we can. But which one should I download IBM Websphere portal Server Express/Custom ??? Please provide me link.! :-)

Appreciate your response...

The WebSphere Application Server, WAS, is the underpining of the IBM Portal Server, so indeed, it needs to be installed.

When you download the files for IBM Portal Server, the download will be huge, and it should include the WebSphere Application Server as well.
