Hi,

I have not worked extensively on JSR 168. I know that session management is handled by JSF frame work. When implementing portal solution using JSR 168 and JSF environment how is session management handled ?

Thank you.

In portals, as with JSF, the Session relies on the underlying application server for its implementation and true behavior. For the most part, you will find the PortletSession to be comparable to almost every way to the HttpSession you would be using in a JSF or Struts application.
