dear sir
can u guide me how to establish connection to other system through dialup(or telephone line & modem ) without using
internet. what are the classes and methods present in java for ythe same thing.

It all depends on what you wish to do. If you are connected to an internal network or you can connect to a network through a VPN or by Remote connection with dail-up networking, you can use the package.
However if you want to communicate directly, you need to get the Java<sup>TM</sup> Communications API . I only know of this API and have never used it. There is a section in Java IO by Orielly on it and that book is available in the Bunk House or by clicking HERE
