I got Java Certification Book by Khalid Mughal today
The book seems to cover lot more than thats required for SCJP.
Unlike RHE book, this has more chapters like Swing, Applets, Java
Docs and stuff like that
So my question is
Is Swing/Applets/JavaDocs are included too for SCJP?
To be more precise:
Chapters 16, 17, 19. Do i need to cover these chapters?
Could some help me to clarify this doubt please?
Thankx

Hi Ragu,
Swing, Javadoc and Applets are not covered in the exam. You do need to be familiar with the Components, Containers and Layout Managers in the AWT.
Hope that helps.

Hi Jane,
SCJP2 covers FlowLayout,BorderLayout and GridLayout Manager.
But does it cover Card and GridBagLayout Manager also?
I have covered all of them but not confident in GridBagLayout.
So tell me what to do with GridBagLayout....study more or a basic idea is enough?
