the secured connection just depends upon the protocol u r using urlconnection uses http as protocol what u have to do for secure connection is to use https as protocol

Thanks. How to open a secured connection using HTTPS is my question. The only syntax I know is url.openconnection(). I am not aware of any options here. Sanjay
