IP address of the client

I have a server program which accepts client connections over a socket. For security reasons I would like to obtain the ip address of the client. I tried using

s.getInetAddress().getHostAddress();

However this is retirning 0.0.0.0
Is there any other way to obtain the ip of the client ?

Solved the problem. By mistake I was using the server socket.Sorry to be a bother.
