Announcing: New Bartenders!

The time has come for JavaRanch to bring in some new blood to help out with moderating groups and generally keeping the place running. Behind the scenes, we've been taking note of some posters who have already demonstrated great willingness to help out by offering many informative, friendly and downright useful responses to other posters who needed help. We've asked these amazingly helpful people if they'd be willing to take on positions as bartenders here at the ranch, and they've accepted. So without further delay, it's time to introduce the new bartenders you'll be seeing here at JavaRanch. Everyone please welcome:
Bert Bates
Bear Bibeault
Ernest Friedman-Hill
Lasse Koskela
Joel McNary
Andrew Monkhouse

Every one of these has been a big asset to the forums they've participated in, and we're looking forward to their continued contribution. Thank you, new bartenders! I'm now installing these folks as bartenders in their new places of power, so check out the main furms page to see who's going where.
Note - Ernest Friedman-Hill is on vacation this week, so try not to burn down his new forums while he's away, and welcome him when he gets back.
Once again, thanks to all the above for your contributions, and welcome to bartenderdom!

Congrats to all, especially Bert who not only helped me by answering questions, but also by writing an awesome book with a little help from Kathy

5 with good behaviour, but none of us have ever been accused of that
