Hi!! I have a client application that communicates with an HTTPS server. Recently, it has stared giving the following error maybe once a week: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Remote host closed connection during handshake If I run the application again, it runs without any problems. How should I attack this problem? Regards, Ashwin
I'm not a javax.net expert, but it sounds to me like the host is just dropping the connection during connection setup ("handshake"). This is likely due to an overloaded server or congestion on the network somewhere between you and the server, rather than a problem with your client code. You'll probably need to work with whoever is responsible for the server if you need to fix it. Warren
