hi all: I am kind of fresh to java net work programming, could you let me know any "GOOD" sites that you would recommend for a fresh beginner? i'd take some network communication classes in the past.. thanks..

Sun's Tutorials are usually pretty good. I won the book O'Reilly Java Network Programming by Elliot Rusty Harold here on the ranch and it has lots of great examples. But try the Sun stuff before you spend money.
