Hi

I am planning to make one small mobile application in J2ME or BREW.
My mobile application will communicate with my server (written in Java or J2EE) to fetch information.

can anyone please tell me what are the possible ways to communicate between mobile application and server?

I am giving you one solution as below. But I want to know more options.
One solution:- My mobile application sends HTTP request to server, my server responds with data, which can be parsed by my mobile.

This is one way with HTTP. is there any other way to do the same?
which can support different mobiles of different companies?

I will be very thankful to you, if you can help me in this.

Regards
