Hi,

I tried Java Service Launcher (JSL) and Java Service to start a java programm as a windows service. I experience the same problem with both tools, the registration as a service is succesfull. Starting the service the java programm gets an error while trying to connect to the internet, ... Standalone this works just fine.
Are there any issues with windows?

Environment:
Windows Server 2003 SP2
Firewall is switched off
Service runs in a account with admin rights
Java 1.5

Help is appreciated!

Have you checked out Aspose?
