Error while downloading Image from web site

            ByteArrayOutputStream out = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
            RandomAccessFile file = new RandomAccessFile("jpg", "rw");
            byte[] buffer = new byte[4096];         
            for (int read = 0; (read = in.read(buffer)) != -1; out.write(buffer, 0, read)) {

            }
            file.write(out.toByteArray());
            file.close();
        } catch (Exception e) {
            System.out.println(e);

    }
 

PROBLEM-
I am downloading an image from URL and writing it to local disk drive. Now at the time of input stream i am having an Exception like -

    java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

I am using netBeans 6.0 and i have set System Proxy Setting inside it. as well to run this code successfully i have turned off my pc's firewall.

Don't know what your problem is. Following code works for me:

            int read = 0;
            while ((read = in.read(buffer)) != -1) {
              System.out.println("read=" + read);
              out.write(buffer, 0, read);
            }
