Can somebody cite me the difference between HashMap and HashTable

The HashMap roughly equivalent to HashTable, except
that it is unsynchronized and permits nulls

this is what I know-
HashMap -
1) Do Not guarantee order of map
2) It Allows NULL
3) Not Synchronized
HashTable-
1)It is Synchronized
2)Does NOT allow NULL
