I am using JNI for the first time. I already have my libraries in C++ and Fortran using pointers and my GUI in JAVA. Can any body help me if it is suggestable to use JNI? I want the disadvantages of JNI when linked with C++ and Fortran.

Hi Kiran -
I'm moving this over to other APIs, where it may have a better chance of getting answered.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
