Hi:
I was wondering if there is any difference between Distr. Java and J2EE, J2SE,...in term of grammer? I think they just have different API?
Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean - the core APIs used in distributed applications are part of the standard edition. java.net, java.io, java.rmi (multiple sub packages), javax.rmi, etc. With SDK 1.4 the XML packages are part of the standard library. Even Java 1.02 could do simple distributed applications.

Why would you prefer to hear it from a bartender? Bill is as qualified (if not more so) than any of us poor schmucks.
BTW, Bill's right.
