Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to edit a server side .doc file from the client location. Also If I save the word file on the client machine, then the server side .doc file should get updated.
If this is possible please let me know the help url's for the same.

Regards,
Vikas

You will need to have some sort of cooperating process on the Server side. What server technology do you have available?

seems like you would also have to have a .doc file interpreter as well if you were planning to edit it in java, since it's not a plain text file. doing this with a .txt file wouldn't be too hard if you only had to update the server version when the client version was saved. Sorry, I have no urls for this, only what I know is possible.
