Hi, i am using an instance of the XmlRpcClient Class to access a Servlet that hosts an instance of the XmlRpcServer Klass. Both are from the org.apache.xmlrpc Package. Is there a way to gzip-compress the xml-datagrams (or at least the answer, from the Servlet). Since the answers are usually between 20 and 60 k i am willing to accept the time penalty for the compression/decompression cycle. To be more specific, is there a way to set the http-header field accept-encoding:gzip when using the 2 classes. Or is there any other magic involved? Pointers, tips even complete solutions are welcome. Thank you, J.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
